UPDATE I have change supplier so the XPS foam is now black rather than pink as in the some of the photos but it is the same product, any questions just let me know. Here are my handmade XPS foam bricks for terrain building for your wargames. I have some left that are black (as in the pictures) but my next batch are made with pink XPS foam, same product just a different colour. This is for 18g, which is approximately 400, XPS foam bricks. The bricks approximate sizes are 7mm x 7mm x 15mm but as they are hand produced some will be larger and some smaller too but this is great when building terrain as there are different sizes. They can all still be cut down too if required, they can easily be cut with a knife. All the bricks are made out of a XPS foam and have already been textured for you so you can just glue these down and then paint them without the need to add any texture. However you are still able to add more texture if required for your project. A great way to add texture is to use a ball of tin foil, a rubber, a wire brush even just a pencil the options are endless. To glue the bricks together you can just use PVA glue or a glue of your choice (not superglue though as this can melt the foam, so can hot glue if it is too hot). Normally I would glue the first layer down with hot glue so it has an instant stick and then PVA or Mod Podge the rest of the bricks on. You can see some examples in the photos on the listing, there are some scatter walls (with 28mm model next to it for comparison) and a well I have made. I have all so used some on the edge of a 3d print of a dice tower that I have printed so it looks like a wall. (Just stating these are NOT in the listing they are just ideas of what you can do with the foam bricks, the listing is for 18g of XPS foam bricks only no models included). When your creation is made and the glue has dried i recommend sealing the foam by covering it with a mixture of either mod podge or PVA and black paint, this will seal the foam and undercoat it at the same time so you are then ready to paint. NOTE: please make sure all the foam is sealed if you intend to use a spray paint or varnish on the foam, as the propellant in aerosols can melt the XPS foam, once sealed i have no issues using a spray varnish on my terrain. Any questions just ask and happy crafting!!
