100% Tencel (Lenzing lyocell) thread. This black thread is a fantastic heavy weight thread for overlocking, top stitching, cover stitching, straight sewing or hand sewing.  Extremely strong (stronger than Organic Cotton Threads) and therefore ideal for heavy duty sewing, like pants denim, bags or garments with stretch. Also works as a multipurpose thread, but for a finer thread for lighter materials or overlocking see our 40tex weight. Sews beautifully!
