The Seed Paper is formed on the heritage paper machine just like all the other papers, except. they manually tear the sheets of at a rough length whilst the paper containing seeds is still wet, which is very time consuming. The sheets are then air dried in purpose built drying boxes using large industrial fans over 2-3 days. This is to preserve the seeds as much as possible. The number of sheets they are able to produce in a day is vastly reduced compared to the other papers.

As this range is made at a steam heritage mill, texture and colour can change with every batch made and there can be great variations within the batch as well.
