A fabulous, all purpose fiber. Corriedale wool has a defined, even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity. The sheep are well-cared for, sheared humanely and not mulesed. The wool is cleaned, carded and dyed in a small, New Zealand mill. The wool wash used is environmentally-friendly. The dyes comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, a standard most widely known for certification of ecologically-safe clothing.
