This tool greatly simplifies the process of cutting your own leather straps of a precise width up to 4. It has a broad fence that registers against the straight edge of the material, and a blade on the end of a movable arm that can be positioned at a consistent offset from that edge. Cut width can be set by direct-reading against a strap you want to match exactly, or set to a particular measurement by using the Imperial and metric graduations marked on the arm.
