Creating a new memory for your jeans You're purchasing the experience of the Pretty Cottage Patch (to be applied inside the jeans) This is a super easy iron on patch. If you are wanting the patch to be applied to the outside of your jeans/garment please specify at checkout. How it works? Choose a size that is least 2.5-3.8cm (1-1.5inches) larger than your hole in all directions. See the conversion chart below cm and inches (we sell globally). This is to ensure enough room for the tape. If you're unsure, just message us and we'll help you. If you need a custom size, no worries just let us know. How to apply? Each pack comes with directions but basically you will remove the adhesive tape, place the patch in position and apply iron (no steam) for a couple of seconds. Allow to cool fully before using your jeans. And no fabric softener as this affects adhesion. What if it doesn't work? Our patches have been tried and tested with over hundreds and hundreds of customers. They work and they hold up well in the wash permanently. There are often two reasons if your patch doesn't work. 1. You have applied too much heat to the patch (you will see the adhesive area looks very dry if you do this). It only needs a couple of seconds to melt the adhesive so it can stick to your jeans. 2. You don't allow enough time for the patch to cool. It needs this time to adhere properly to the jeans. Oh and no fabric softener! I have stretch jeans will they work? You will need a fabric that has some give in it to allow for this stretch.
