Powered by the insistent march of classic analog drum machines and day-glow synthesizers, this collaborative effort from producers Hotel Pools and A.L.I.S.O.N is the aural equivalent of a luxury getaway. Ultrasound finds these chillwave auteurs bumping up the tempo on tracks that occasionally reach club level intensity, while diving deeper into their signature wistful electro.
