Rainy Day Earrings - White with gold leaf, made from Polymer Clay. These earrings are so pretty in real life! Something about the shapes in this design and the way they move. A great earring should have some movement and these have lots! Added bonus is that they are light as a feather. Individual components are attached with 14K Gold fill jump rings, to add movement and dimension to this style. The brass crescents add some sparkle for a finishing touch! What makes these earrings special, is the hand fabricated 14K Gold filled ear wires. Most polymer clay earrings have post backs. This is because manufactured ear wires do not have loops big enough to accommodate the thickness of polymer clay. So clay artists use posts instead. I decided when I started experimenting with polymer clay, that I would create an ear wire to
