Made to order open top sheath for Benchmade 940 or 943. If your knife is without clip, please tell me. For a sheath with flap please use listing from shop section Sheaths by Shape, it has different price. Current making time (before mailing) is 2 weeks. Knife is not included. Pictures show examples of previous work, made to other users preferences. *How ordering of a custom sheath works:* 1. Add your specifications (from available options, shown below) for a custom sheath in Note to Seller to checkout. Make sure that what you are ordering matches your requirements: carry, knife orientation and so on. 2. If there is nothing in Note to Seller, then you are ordering a sheath, similar to shown in the first picture, for a belt 1 3/4"x1/8". Default thread color is a closest match to the leather color, from what I have. *Options*: - Leather could be softer English bridle leather (black, cold shade of dark brown, reddish medium brown) or usual stiff tooling leather, dyed in variety of colors, shown in pictures, or left undyed). - If your knife is without clip, please tell me. Clip always has to face outside. For models with multiple clip positions, if it is different from shown in the first picture, I have to know your knife clip location. - Right or left handed sheaths will be made on the same knife in mirror orientation. I have to know your knife orientation in the sheath: blade to the left or to the right, tip up or down. - Vertical belt loop choices are shown for larger knives. I can make any of them, as long as pace on a smaller sheath allows. For large metal clip sheath has to be made wider, with double seam. Belt clips are shown in shop section Sheaths by Shape. - If you add your belt dimensions at the time of ordering, I will make belt loop to its size. Without this, belt loop for will be made for for a default belt 1 3/4" x 1/8" (4.5 cm x 3 mm). - Low ride is also possible, when top of the knife is at the top of the belt level. - Small stamp can be added on flat surface of the clipless sheath. No text or initials. - Shape of the opening could be S-shaped, straight, angled, domed or with recess for a thumb. If you don't specify otherwise, opening will be made as shown in the first photo. - Treads could be black, dark brown, light brown, natural (yellowish off-white), white semi-translucent, bright white opaque, red, blue, light orange, dark red. Material is mostly nylon, have some basic polyester colors and flax in white, brown, black. - Finish is flexible Fiebing's Resolene, if you have other preferences, please let me know. Dull matte finish is also possible. - Water repellent spray only if you would like it. After sheath is finished, I'll send you photos of it for your approval before mailing, in the evening before due date. Communications are by using messaging system, no calls.
