Some say that soft cheeses are easy and hard cheeses are hard, but in this class we will learn that that’s not necessarily so! We will start by making a delicious Italian hard cheese that uses simple ingredients and minimal equipment and only needs to age for 3 weeks! Plus you will learn how to age cheeses, wax a mini cheese wheel to take home with you, and find out how to make a cheese press for free! After we’re done with the cheesemaking part of your experience, it’s time to play with the goats and visit with the wonderful mamas. You’ll get a tour of our farm, check out our cozy milkhouse, meet our cool guardian llama, and then interact with the friendly herd including triplets born this spring. COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE: To keep our guests and instructors as safe as possible, we ask that only vaccinated students attend our classes. Masking is optional.
