Antique silver metal and faux gems. Marked Patented with no makers emblem. Estimated 1910-20's. Measures 7.75 with room for stretch. Excellent condition. Fits a medium to large wrist or small upper arm. 

The bloodiest red snake in nature is known as the Blood Red Cornsnake or Red Rat Snake (Pantherophis guttatus). Thanks to iNaturalist.org for sharing that the name of corn snake comes from corn farmers of old. They stored the harvest in wooden buildings, vulnerable to rodents who snuck in to eat the cornand the snakes followed the rodents who they would squeeze to death and consume, thereby eating the corn as well!
