Beeswax Wrap 4-Pack

Our Beeswax Wraps are a fun and eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap. We make each wrap with a blend of natural beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin that is infused into cotton fabric by hand. Each ingredient was selected for its preservative, antimicrobial and biodegradable qualities. Beeswax wraps are a great alternative when wrapping items normally stored in plastic wrap, like vegetables, cheeses, breads, sandwiches, snacks, etc. It is not recommended for use with raw meat or greasy foods. To use, cover item with wrap then with the warmth from your hands press and mould wraps firmly around the food item or container to be stored. Place the wrapped item in the refrigerator or take them with you on the go for sandwiches and snacks. Because beeswax wraps are made from natural beeswax they need to be kept away from all sources of heat, including hot water, steam, hot food and flames. Wait until the food is cool and then cover with it with your wrap. Avoid putting them in the dishwasher, microwave oven, or anywhere they can get hot. As a summer time caution, avoid leaving beeswax wraps in hot places such as direct sunlight or in a parked car. In hot weather, it is best to keep wrapped items such as sandwiches, cut vegetables, fruit or cheese, in a cooler with an ice pack. Beeswax wraps can be cleaned in cool water with mild dish soap. Rinse and air dry before storing. Alcohol based soaps will dissolve the natural coating so check before washing. Beeswax wraps are reusable, will last up to a year with proper care and use, and are compostable at the end of use. Sold with random coastal and nature themed colors and designs.
