The ancient craft of olive wood carving lives on! The wood is deeply stained, leaving a warm soft glow. The top of each coaster features a ceramic tile in the very best Armenian ceramic tradition that is famous in Jerusalem. The bottom of each coaster is covered in felt to avoid scratching your surfaces. Perfect gift for a wedding, housewarming, or birthday for your favorite host!

Likewise, as these are hand painted, you may notice minor differences between each item in the set you order, reflective of authentic, machine-free craftsmanship. 

Each item from Armenian Ceramics is skillfully crafted from ceramic clay according to traditional methods in the Land of Israel. Once it is formed, each item is baked at a high heat (1000°C) until it hardens. It is then masterfully hand painted using metallic and oxidized paint, allowing it to maintain its natural vibrant colors. After, it is reheated and then coated with a fine layer of glazing. After this traditional process is completed, the final product is sure to become a treasured part of your home decor for many years to come!
