Enameled butterflies sit atop a large glittering goldstone. Goldstone is actually a type of glass that has been admired since at least the 17th century when invented by Venetian artisans. This particular goldstone is an unusual midnight blue/violet color and measures an impressive 35 mm long by 25 mm wide.
