Introduce yourself to Gouache, a watercolor medium with many exciting applications! In this beginner class, we will focus on the properties of the medium and familiarize ourselves with the basics. Our goal will be practice and play, experimenting with color intensity, the importance of layering, and expressiveness.

We will discuss the differences explicitly related to opaque Gouache versus traditional watercolor tube paint during class.

Students will work with warm-up exercises and discuss proper techniques for mixing Gouache, using water, and building up a composition. Students will receive a workbook to follow with the instructor during the class!
